Thai Village ended the year—and began the new one—with the excitement of moving into a brand-new facility! The timing even allowed my dad to attend the dedication ceremony during a previously planned visit, which made the celebration especially meaningful. This new space not only provides room for our current team but also opens doors to expand employment opportunities and explore new areas of craftsmanship. As we settle in, we are learning new rhythms while also seeking ways to build relationships with our neighbors and serve this new community well.
I (Anne) also recently returned from coaching a basketball tournament at Faith Academy in the Philippines, the culmination of our season. We were a young team, but the growth in their skills, confidence, and unity was truly special. Our team motto was “All In,” a reminder to give everything we have, both on and off the court. Alongside that, we reflected on Jeremiah 29:13: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” While wins and losses fade, our prayer is that the lessons learned—perseverance, teamwork, and faith—will shape these students for years to come.
This month, the seminary celebrated the graduation of a cohort in Bangkok, Thailand, consisting of 13 students. Over the past several months, I (Billy) had the privilege of mentoring one graduate through her capstone project, where she discipled young professionals in one of Southeast Asia’s largest cities. Together they explored how work itself can be an act of worship, equipping believers to live with integrity and reflect Christ’s love in their workplaces. Plans are already underway to begin a new cohort soon.
We miss you all deeply and remain incredibly grateful for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and support. Thank you for partnering with us in what God is doing here.
