For more than 50 years, the building we call home has been a place where people have worshiped, prayed, learned, served, celebrated, and built lasting relationships. When our new sanctuary was completed in 1975, it represented an exciting new chapter for Edgewood. Generations of people have faithfully cared for this building, allowing it to continue serving our church family and our community.
But after more than five decades, some parts of the building were beginning to show their age, especially our men’s and women’s restrooms. They had become outdated and, quite honestly, weren't always the most welcoming spaces for those who walked through our doors.
That’s why we are completely gutting and remodeling both restrooms. This isn’t simply about making things look nicer. It’s about being good stewards of what God has entrusted to us and creating a building that is clean, welcoming, functional, and ready to serve people well.
When someone new visits Edgewood, we want them to see a church that values its history without being stuck in the past. We want our building to communicate that we care about the people who are here today and the generations who will walk through our doors tomorrow.
Because you give, we can do more than maintain a building. We can invest in the future of Edgewood and continue preparing a place where people can encounter God, connect with His people, and feel at home.
