Youth at Edgewood

We believe students thrive when faith becomes their own. Our youth community exists to help middle and high schoolers build a relationship with Jesus, form real friendships, and discover how to live out their faith every day.

Sundays for Middle & High School Students

Sundays: Join the Family

Students begin Sunday mornings worshiping alongside their families at
10:00 AM, sharing in a meaningful time of connection as part of our church community. This shared experience helps build relationships and a sense of belonging. Following the service, students gather at 11:15 AM in the Student Center for Youth Group, where they’ll find a welcoming environment and small-group discussions designed just for them—creating space for
friendships, conversation, and growth together.

After-Church Youth Gathering — 11:15-12:45 AM

Our Youth Group, led by Ben Bullock, is a committed and close‑knit community of middle and high school students who love growing in faith together. This group is full of energy, curiosity, and a real desire to build meaningful relationships.
Each Sunday after service, students gather for a fun and relaxed time that includes candy and snacks, teaching that speaks to real life, and plenty of space to talk, laugh, and form genuine community.
Throughout the year, students enjoy special events like movie nights, corn maze trips, and games of basketball or volleyball in our new church gym—supported by a great team of adult volunteers. Many of our students also love to serve, regularly helping at special events for our Children’s Ministry.
Whether your student is brand‑new or already connected, there’s a place for them here to belong, grow, and be encouraged.

Core Goals of Youth Ministry

Grow in Faith

Help students develop a genuine, growing relationship with Jesus through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, and meaningful conversations that meet them where they are.

Belong in Community

Create a safe, welcoming environment where students feel known, valued, and connected—building healthy friendships and trusted relationships with caring leaders and peers.

Live Out Your Faith

Encourage students to put their faith into action by serving others, sharing God’s love, and learning how to live out biblical values in everyday life at school, at home, and in the world.
