Location: Edmonds, Washington (in person) Schedule: Full-time — includes Sunday services, weekly youth gatherings, rehearsals, planning, and events
Compensation: $55,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience). Plus: housing allowance (for qualified pastoral candidates), healthcare stipend, paid vacation, and ministry conferences and continuing education support.

About the Role
Worship Leadership & Music Ministry (Approx. 50%)
Youth Ministry Leadership (Approx. 50%)
- Worship planning & leadership — Plan and lead Sunday worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor; select biblically grounded, congregationally engaging music; lead rehearsals and develop volunteer musicians and vocalists; oversee service flow, transitions, and creative elements
- Team development — Recruit, mentor, and disciple worship team members; identify and train emerging leaders, including student musicians; build a culture of excellence and spiritual growth within the worship ministry
- Ministry coordination — Oversee worship-related technology teams (sound, slides, livestream); coordinate special services (Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, etc.)

- Student discipleship & teaching — Lead and grow a vibrant middle and high school ministry; plan and teach weekly youth gatherings; develop student leaders and small group environments
- Events & outreach — Organize events, retreats, service projects, and camps; foster outreach to students in the Edmonds community
- Relational ministry — Build strong relationships with students and families; equip parents as primary spiritual influencers; provide pastoral care, mentorship, and discipleship

What Success Looks Like
After your first 6 months, you'll have:
- Sunday worship running consistently with a developing team of musicians and vocalists
- A healthy weekly rhythm for the middle and high school ministry
- Emerging student leaders — including student musicians — being identified and trained
- Strong relationships built with students, families, and the worship team
- Special services (Christmas, Easter, Good Friday) planned and executed well

Requirements
Spiritual & character
- Growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Agreement with Edgewood Church's statement of faith
- Strong biblical teaching ability
- Relational warmth, humility, and leadership maturity
- Bible degree or equivalent
Musical Skills
- Proficient in leading worship vocally (required)
- Proficient on guitar or piano (required)
- Experience leading bands and coordinating worship teams
- Familiarity with contemporary and blended worship styles
Ministry Experience
- Experience recruiting and developing volunteers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience in worship leadership and/or youth ministry
